For this project I was asked to create a gift booklet based off of a general conference talk for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The talk was written by Dieter F. Uchtdorf, in the First Presidency of the church. He addressed our need to focus on God throughout our days in order change to be who God intend for us to be. I was asked to create a 12 page booklet that was 8 x 11in. 

Typography is the key when designing a booklet. It allows you to point out essential ideas and quotes in the text to create a hierarchy throughout the booklet. Typography engages the reader. With pleasing titles, body copy, and pull quotes the reader stays engaged. 

I used a vibrant color scheme to show restoration and becoming a colorful talented person. I chose to do warm colors that were inviting just as God is to all of His Children on earth. I chose great designs for the quotes to stand out and create an emphasis on the page. The subheads were pulled out of the text to create variety in the art.
