On October 26th, 2021, the IE Library at the IE campus in Madrid had the inauguration of the ASEAN Corner. ASEAN or the Association of Southeast Asian Nations is an economic union made up of 10 members states. The ASEAN Corner was introduced to the IE Library as a way for students to enrich their knowledge of ASEAN countries through the various books and texts that were graciously donated by the different ASEAN embassies in Spain. Notable guests included: the Ambassadors of Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, the Consul of The Philippines, the Charge d’Affairs of Indonesia, the President of the IE Foundation, and the Vice Dean of the School of Global and Public Affairs.
