Today Europe comes at a critical stage, alternating social media agitation and vacant civic spaces, materialising a barrier of emptiness which forbids people to discuss the sorts of our present face to face.

Beyound this invisible barrier, nothing is known, but everything is possible. In the middle of Eurotopie pavilion there is an element of physical and visual interruption, limiting the performance of the space main function: confrontation.

The column is a disturbing element that reveal the importance of this civic space through a condition of crisis. The alteration of the space raises a critic towards the distortion of collective confrontation and the precarity of individual political commitment.

At the same time, the objects materiality reflects and multiplies the surroundings: the mirror stresses the conditions that reflects with a static and at the same time active attitude.

Either the emptiness and absence of political commitment will be amplified or civic engagement multiplied and supported.
