LEEDS LIGHT NIGHT 2021
Lasertonic was a meditative projection presented on the historic Lifting Tower in the centre of the Wellington Place complex, Leeds.
The immersive laser light installation was accomapined by a spatial soundscape by Ben Carrol a Sound Healer and Musician from Texas, US. The installation used Chromotherapy, the use of colour to improve health and alter your mood, and Cymatics principles to create large optical illusions.
'Studies have shown that colours with shorter wavelengths such as blue and green evoke feelings of calmness.'
The colourful modulating laser light transformed its surroundings into a meditative environment for quiet contemplation.
