In 2002, the USA and the coalition states decided to war on Iraq. President Bush declared that this was to bring peace to the Iraqi people and to protect the world from a great danger. As a result millions of Iraqis were killed and more of them had to leave their country to find a shelter. Is our world is safer now? Is there more peace in Middle East now?

As an artist, I had felt helpless at that time and decided to create a webpage to protest the war in 2003. I created 4 animations that centered around the sentence "I didn't do anything" to show how people were transformed brutally and forced to be cruel and oppressed at the same time.

The site became popular in 2003, awarded and listed many times both in Turkey and abroad. This NFT collection is bringing together its assets. (There used to be 4 animations but i kept 1 for myself).

Since then, people are being killed in Iraq and middle east is less safe than ever.
