This project required students to create the branding for a music festival in Baltimore. I chose the Baltimore Jazz Fest, a free, all day celebration of jazz music for all ages. Held in Druid Hill Park, the festival features professional and student musicians and singers native to Baltimore. 

Going in a direction I dubbed, “experimental flair” I was inspired by jazz’s improvisational nature and sought to design a logo that was contemporary, playful, and abstract.
