This game was a one-week project challenge given to us in our Interactive Applications for Mobile Media class. The brief was to create any type of game that includes a loading screen, instructions/help menu, and at least three levels/game mode. We had to create and design all the assets in either Photoshop or Illustrator, and then code it in Adobe Animate.
Upon opening the game, there would be a short story to introduce what the rocketship’s mission is. Afterwards, players can choose to enter three different stages or difficulties (planets – each with different timers), and collect orbs while avoiding obstacles such as the blackholes and meteorites. Once the stage is cleared, the player’s score is shown and a number of stars according to the player’s collected orbs.
