For a few years, I did wedding stationary. I loved working with brides! Such happy work... long hours and expensive to produce but I loved the outcomes. Working with so many different types of media and ribbon was a lot of fun. Some of these projects were quite challenging with navigating production costs and finding the right vendor. Through these challenges, I learned how to work with many different kinds of vendors and to be an advocate for my clients as well as myself.  Also, I gained lots of experience with my hand work and production skills! Below are a few of my favorites...
Heather & Shawn
The Schwenzer - Long wedding was my first wedding. Amazing couple with a beach themed wedding. These invitations were done on paper that looked like sand and sparkled in the light. I did a (hand) die cut shell over the invitation they were tied together with twine.
I did several other custom projects for their wedding which included water bottles, chapstick, programs, place cards, a logo, monogram, a sign for the candy buffet, wine bottle labels and table numbers to fit in some home-made frames the bride had made.
Jenny & Mark
This next one is probably my favorite because of how absolutely FUN the theme was to work with. The bride had contacted me and her question was "Can you find a way to make zebra print and magenta "classy"?" Challenge accepted. This bride was super fun to work with and I loved how these came out! The base was a thick black card stock, printed on white card stock with hand placed satin ribbon and Swarovski crystal embellishments.
I also created thank you cards, a monogram, water bottle labels and Swarovski embellished place cards.
Jeff & Crystal
This Minnesota couple had a beautiful fall theme of gold and brown.
Des & Kristin
These were the most intricate invitations I have ever done! They were pocket folds with 4 separate cards, Swarovski embellished pocket liner, double layer invitation and another double layer, Swarovski embellished enclosure. They turned out absolutely beautiful!
They also had me create a little logo and had shot glasses made with their logo.
Gwen & Bill
This couple came to me with a very specific style in mind. They wanted their names to be the art and they wanted a hand-drawn, almost folksy quality to the art. This one was a lot of fun to work on!
Heather & Nate
This sweet young Military couple had a very formal, classy wedding and got the invitations to match the style of the wedding.
Lauren & Chris
The theme was calla lilies and the colors were magenta and sage. These were hand drawn with Swarovski crystal embellishments and adorned with a faux lily tied with a magenta ribbon. Her maid of honor had me match the shower invitations to the wedding invites too!
