Nike 'Discrimination' Superfly - Virtual Concept

Rashford 'Eliminate Discrimination' Mercurial Superfly - Virtual Concept. No place for discrimination... no place for racism... with online racism directed at Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho and Bukayo Saka as well as over the past few years with George Floyd and the #BlackLivesMatter movement I'm here to stand up for an extremely important global issue; racism or more broadly discrimination.
After the Euro 2020 final three black athletes received shocking online abuse from hundreds of people after the English trio all missed penalties in the shootout as the Three Lions were undone by Italy at Wembley. These events continue the appalling culture of racism towards black people around the world over decades and centuries.
This Superfly design needed to capture and represent something big and I believe it has done so; it's created to further oppose racism not just in football but everywhere. A display of volt yellow, black and red is shown throughout with a special message quoted by Rashford himself applied to the bottom of the boot. The word "Discrimination" is fixed inside the Swoosh with a red line crossing it out and this represents what this boot is all about; eliminating not just racism but discrimination in all forms.
Rashford comments; "Just look at what we can do, when we work together", which was after Rashford’s petition to end child food poverty which topped a million signatures in 2020. The colours of red and black and a small Red Devil emblem nod back to his hometown club Manchester United where he still currently resides.
