What Is Research?
Challenge: Investigate relationship between research and graphic design practices by exploring existing brand identities / campaigns. Using this exploration to produce a Tabloid printed publication, to document graphic communication skills, primary / secondary research techniques and findings from chosen brand ident.
Solved: Exploring design agency Gretel and their webpage, I developed a printed publication based around Nike X NYC. A campaign to promote the opening of Nike’s new flagship store in Soho, New York. The publication documents my research process for this campaign, historical relevance of Nike and design research for my tabloid.
