In surveying other leading institutions that offer similar courses we found that they often focus on promoting cultural and recreational opportunities available at the event location. 

 

Because our faculty provides the world's most advanced instruction in pediatric emergency medicine, and the Boston medical community is recognized for their long history of responding to disasters, we felt is would be more effective for us to focus on the learning opportunities available from the course and present Boston in a way that was relevant to the topic.
