Expect the Unexpected
Returning after 8 years. In Hawaii, you can expect the unexpected.
On the north shore of Kauai, in Princeville. A gradual climb down to volcanic rocks, small waterfalls, caves, and a chance to look at sea turtles. Photographed by me.
Weeping Wall:
One of Kauai's sacred places, also considered one of the wettest places on earth. The falls are derived of rain water from inside the mountain. The volcanic rock filters it, and after it finally hits a rock too dense to penetrate, it makes it's way out, creating a spring, thus a wall of waterfalls.
