Roller Derby
Here I show you a 20 second animation dedicated to the Roller Derby community.
My goal was to create a unique fiction Roller Derby lesson showing the skills and attitude you must show to roll on.
First, I took some footage to develope a 6 layer rotoscope illustration sequence. Then I created the pack of graphic elements for the backgrond, type, and surrounding motifs. I joined all this with AE compositing, and added some particular behaviors and color correction.
For the music and sound design I picked "Bullet" by The Misfits, made some edition work, and included accents with sounds fx from all over the web. The whole audio work was developed with Ableton Live.
