Durable, lightweight and comfortable, the new generation Eveready Dolphin Torch Mini is perfect for camping and will fit easily in a backpack or glovebox.
The torch is waterproof and buoyant so it can be easily recovered when dropped and the tough polypropylene body ensures minimal damage.
The rubber overmould provides  extra comfort and grip.

Essentially this project was to redesign the exterior plastic housing for the internal components of the Eveready Dolphin Torch Mini.
The Dolphin Torch has  been a staple of the Eveready brand. I wanted to ensure that  the new iteration of the product carried forward some of the recognisable character and qualities it’s known for.
The design process involved a conducting a complete tear down of the existing Dolphin Torch Mini to establish all the essential components that needed housing.

The front cap was designed to communicate durability with it’s geometry, while the more organic handle conveys comfort. The rubber overmould was added to give the user more grip and serve as a subtle motif of a dolphin’s curves.
Tough, waterproof, comfortable and affordable is what the Dolphin torch is known for and this new design maintains that legacy.
