The client wanted me to make a logo for his music label. No lettering, just the Moon, similar to the crescent moon emoji, but in a cool way.
I decided that the Moon should be fictional, because the real Moon is too flat and doesn't look dramatic enough.
Then I made 15 quick sketches to find what the client needs.
As it turned out, it was very problematic to choose one option, since the customer liked all of them, so it was decided to make three logos instead of one.
Pointillism was used as a visual technique to emphasize the weightlessness and mysterious mood of the logo.
