In 1918, workers at Goodyear started the Wingfoots, one of the first basketball teams in the United States. The team promoted one of the first rubber soled shoes, called the Wingfoot. Recently, Goodyear, who is a major sponsor of the Cleveland Cavaliers wanted to bring back the "wingfoot" to update the branding on the Cavaliers' uniform, and I was tasked with creating a modern interpretation of the old logo.
