LOOK AND FEEL
The exhibition is designed to highlight the American experience using a modified ‘red, white, and blue’ palette—substituting bright colors of rouge (red PMS193), citron (PMS 396) and turquoise (blue PMS 311). The fifties are the main inspiration for the graphic elements. The port hole windows popular in the 1955 Ford Thunderbird as well as racing stripes popular in classic cars are the inspiration for the treatments of the inset wall case and stripe running throughout the exhibit.
Visitors will view a presentation of illustrations, photographs, marketing materials, and objects that tell the story of the evolution of the fast and convenience foods, and the backyard BBQ experience.
