Why is the Elephant Grey?
This is a silent book that reflects on the ecological issues around animals living in captivity, and how they lose their identity and spirit.

I created these 16 spreads (including the cover and frontispiece) for the Silent Book Awards, however it feels that the story needs a happy ending, so I'm in the process of working on a few more pages.
