This project titled "Bits And Pieces" was created in 2020. As a Kurdish person who was born and grew up in another country, my knowledge of my culture and heritage was always very limited. The few safe-spaces that were available were very often censored (tv stations, journals), and I grew up distancing myself from my language and heritage. Through out the book the reader will find poems, photographies, illustrations and more, that make up the Kurdish culture.
This was a way for me to pay tribute to all the other creatives who existed before me.
I never got to finish this project, however I still wanted to share some of it with everyone.
