The following is a documentary photo essay that I did on an automotive garage in Madison Heights, Virginia called J & J Automotive. I chose to cover this garage because of the amount of warmth and character that I had observed there every time that my car has needed service, and I wanted to tell their story.
This project is a tribute to everyone who works at J & J———thank you for absolutely all that you do, though I know you may not think it's much. Your kindness and sincerity has gone a long, long way.
