16 and R Street of University of Nebraska-Lincoln

16 and R on University of Nebraska-Lincoln's campus
As I am outside by 16th and R street Wednesday early afternoon there is a big rush of students that comes and goes. The large stampede of students carries a very brisk walk as they are trying to get to their destination. There are constantly cars waiting for other cars to cross the intersection as well as waiting for students to cross at the 4 way stop. It seems like every single 10 minutes you can hear the swishing sound of the city bus zoom by.
I choose this area because it is an area that I pass every single day as  do a lot of other students on the campus of University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I wanted this area that I am very familiar with even more than I already do.  It is also very interesting because many of the buildings were built a very long time ago and they are considered to be historical landmarks. Thinking back, this interaction still is a huge part of people's lives. This intersection carries memories that people will cherish for the rest of their lives. For me when I look back at 16th and R I will see me and my roomate walking to the Newman Center for Ash Wednesday, or I will see constantly passing the intersection because we wanted to go to the union for imperial palace and I will especially see my friends and I  going through the intersection and making our way to the library and stay until it closed. This is why I choose this intersection, because I know it is an intersection that hold memories I will cherish forever.
