The challenge was to design the identity and graphics for a National Tobacco and Health conference, organised by an NGO called 'Salaam Bombay'. The name Pulse connotes good health, without getting into the holistic and spiritual side of wellbeing. More importantly, it implies continuous, measurable and positive action. The design is in line with this philosophy behind the name. The repetitive dot graphic represents the name while the vibrant colours stand for the passion and vigour with which Salaam Bombay is able to deliver the cause in collaboration with other organisations.
It’s an easy, young name and has a certain energy to it.
