Correfocs (in English literally "fire-runs") is a cultural activity that takes place in many Catalan festivals. The cities organize parades where people dress up as devils and huge hand-made dragons and light up fireworks in the streets. Crowds of people attend to run among the fireworks and dancing to the sound of rhythmic drums and wind instruments.
