The prompt for this poster was to raise awareness about human trafficking for the "Shadows After Dark" international poster competition.  When I was researching for this project, I was heartbroken by the stories of child abuse in human trafficking.  I wanted to create an impactful poster that would advocate for the millions of child victims that are being sexually exploited around the world.  I chose to use paper dolls as my main visual element because the childlike imagery juxtaposed against the statistic would create a more emotional statement
