In the last 5 years I have come to embrace my culture quite a bit. As I dived into the politics and the culture of Pakistan, I came to appreciate the fight that women have made for their rights. I have taken a common pattern used within certain regions and overlaid it with the the color orange to signify happiness, encouragement, success, change and sexuality. I wanted to show women marching to change the cultural patterns of Pakistan and evolve their roles within society.
