Heartless Bastards is an Austin-based band with roots in rock and roll and folk. For this project I was responsible for art direction and album-cover design. One of the main stipulations for this project was that the design had to be photography-based. In advance I had to sketch out every shot that I wanted to be included in order to direct the photographer I used for the shoot.
