Concept: This piece is titled "Sea of Stars". The concept of this piece is self-reflection. For the last couple of weeks I have been going through artist's block. I failed to finish roughly 5 artworks, halfway through I just lost the mojo. I tried to do reference studies but even they weren't producing anything. And so...I made this. A piece that depicts an artist's block. It feels like being upside down and drowning at the same time and the only thing in your mind is to reach that one shining star that can break the spell.

I intentionally didn't draw the body part and left flat background, it shows how everything outside of the creative space feels stark during this time.

The work was done with Adobe Illustrator with a mouse and took roughly 3 hours. I'm just glad I finally finished an artwork.
