Glowing Glowing Gone

Our Arctic regions and oceans are on the frontline in the climate crisis.
Their temperature changes are twice that to the rest of the planet...

Let's bring these two fragile ecosystems together...

Glowing, glowing, gone. Corals glow in a last attempt to invite their zooxanthellae algae
back home after a bleaching event to survive as a community and continue to provide habitats for many species.

The polar regions are threatened by dwindling ice cover and permafrost is thawing for the first time in centuries.

Inspired by patterns found in organ pipe corals and natural systems, this installation seeks to spotlight the effects of climate change through the mimicking of these natural underwater organisms.

A giant glowing coral in the middle of the Arctic landscape...
A platform to observe the Auroras...
A location to bring people and communities together in the dark Arctic winters...
