This shoot was inspired by a type of photography called Chiaroscuro. This image in particular was my favourite out of the following. The reason for this being that i feel this best represents the idea of innocence, as the image is very natural and soft. The lighting is purely through candle light, as i liked the warmth that it gave the image. This image and the one below were the two i used as part of my exam in unit one AS level photography, as i felt the images gave off positive, warm vibes to the audience, and successfully portrayed the ides of innocence through the use of a small child and the natural posing of both images. All the images below are all considered successful from this shoot, they all use the candle light in various ways which outlines the contours of the childs face perfectly, and they all represent innocence in a way that i hoped for them to.
