The idea for the layout is a UI that you drag up to see the buttons. When not being used, the UI slides, only leaving the home button, time/time zone, and information button on screen.

The simple orange and yellow colour combinations is meant to evoke a feeling of excitement and energy, with a drop shadow on each button making them distinguishable enough to be pressed.
