SPACE EXPEDITION

To create this design, I primarily used Photoshop. The planet was made from various textures which were combined and shaped into a sphere to create a convincing planetary surface.

For the landscape of the planet, I used images of snow-covered mountains and other snowy landscapes, combining them with brushstrokes to achieve the appearance of a blizzard and storm on the planet.

The explorers and spider-like aliens in the design were created as 3D models, which were seamlessly integrated into the scene to provide a sense of scale and to enhance the storytelling aspect of the composition. Overall, my aim was to create a compelling and immersive world that draws inspiration from the science fiction movies Alien and Prometheus.

THE STORY

A team of explorers lands on a distant and unknown planet in a far-off star system, searching for signs of life. They disembark their ship and set up a base camp, determined to uncover the mysteries of this alien world.

As they venture out into the harsh and unforgiving landscape, the team encounters strange and dangerous creatures, including aggressive spider-like aliens. Despite the danger, they press on, driven by their scientific curiosity and desire for discovery.

The team faces many challenges along the way, including harsh weather conditions and the ever-present danger of the alien creatures that inhabit the planet. But they work together, united by their sense of adventure and exploration, and ultimately succeed in unlocking the secrets of this strange new world.

ADDING MOTION

After completing the initial design, I wanted to take it a step further and add some motion to the composition. I incorporated weather effects, including a blizzard and snowfall, to create a more immersive and dynamic environment.

In addition, I added more ships to the scene, showing them going thrue the planet's atmospehere. This added a sense of urgency and excitement to the design, suggesting that this planet is not only a fascinating discovery, but also a valuable resource for competing space exploration factions.

Overall, my goal was to create a captivating and engaging piece that also tells a compelling story of discovery and exploration in a vast and unknown universe.
