Furball (3D Sculpting)

3D Sculpting: Furball
This assignment was created in March 2018 when I was studying in 3dsense Media School. Our lecturer instructed us to create a 3D model of a creature. We were free to use any references that was available on the internet, so I chose a fox-like creature that was designed by a user that goes by len-yan on deviantart.com

It was the beginning of the semester, so going into 3dsense Media School, I had no experience or any knowledge in working with 3D softwares nor was my 2D skills any good. I was completely relying on my basic fundamental skills and tried to apply any knowledge I had when first being introduced to Maya and Zbrush.
More references to help me guide into sculpting the character.
3D references that share similar qualities to the art concept.
Furball Beauty Shot
Final Rendering: Furball Turntable
Breakdown: Render Passes
Softwares: Maya, Zbrush, Adobe Photoshop
Maya was mainly used for sculpting inorganic objects, Zbrush was the main software used to sculpt the creature as well as creating the turntable. Adobe Photoshop was used for the final render of the Beauty Shot, using each render passes to enhance the 3D model.
