Drugs & Teens, Personal Project Year 10
In 2018 for my final year of High School I created this magazine with the objective of solving the problem of inaccurate and misinformation about legal and illegal drug use. The target audience is teenagers. I wanted to create a solution which explained all the concepts of each drug and facts on them so that teenagers could get the information needed easily without asking anyone or feeling scared to ask and more importantly the information to be easily accessible and readily available without bias.
I used a website called Joomag to create the magazine design
If I where to create this project now, I would change:
The Front cover- I would select a different font and add more information about the contents of the magazine. Something that by just looking at the cover will make you want to pick up the magazine.
The back cover- Instead of showing films and documentaries I would promote other projects of mine, so the reader can check out other stuff of mine.
I would overall try and reduce the amount of text and make it easier to read and flick around.
