I have designed a typeface for a friend of mine recently he is really into the history of Atlantis. The main theme was a Quote from Platon, and we have kind of outlined and agreed on an ancient looking script that is kind of looks like Greek a bit but still Latin readable. The more I was doing my research on Atlantis itself, I found it super fascinating and exciting. The basic alphabet A-Z a-z turned out pretty cool but for some of the characters I really felt adding some variants which can add up to the versatility of its future use. The font is under construction still especially regarding the alternates, and ligatures. I am considering adding symbols as well. Here I would like to share some of the progress so far. Some of the ligatures so far, I love particularly the RA and my favourite is the Dutch IJ. There will be some more crazy legibility killer ones too such as CO :)

The font is in stage 2 where I am adding accents and special characters to all Latin languages, next step will be implementing a second master which will be a bold weight. Expect some updates coming soon! (by end of March 2021 at latest).
