I used the CHANEY EXTENDED typeface as the basis for the animation and HEX #FFEB00 for a bright yellow to capture attention and give a base to the fire.
I made two animations with each color, yellow and red. By editing the typography strokes and altering their opacity both animations organically achieved the orange color so present in the short film.
The variation of movement and speed in both was key to achieve the effect without leaving empty spaces in the animation.
