Poster for the 74th Locarno Film Festival
My submission for the 74th Locarno Film Festival.
In this design, I focused on the venue of the festival, in Piazza Grande. If we take a look at the square from above, we could see that the main symbol of the festival - the leopard - fits perfectly in its outlines, exactly where the spectators are usually located. As a cinematic reference, I have added a film strip, which also adds dynamics to the image, as the festival brings bright moments to the life of the city.
