Cover design for Lovely Nest book by Living Loving, a book about home decor inspiration and ideas on how to make your house a comfortable space. I drew the people and houses one by one on Procreate, and then turned them into vectors in Illustrator. The design includes gatefold part that can be cut off and used as bookmark.
Main concept of this cover is neighborhood. It portrays different kinds of people we usually met around our living compound. From elderly people, dogs, a kid playing kite, motorcycle courier, mom who just went back from the market, mbok jamu or Indonesian traditional herbal drink sellers, and some other characters.
