ADVE2291 Design Lab 1: Project 2 Illustrator Techniques
In this project I explored Adobe Illustrator and some of its many many many functions. I started out by taking a picture of a Coca Cola wall mural into Adobe Photoshop and morphed it so the text was not warped. After that I then used the pen tool to create the "Coca Cola" type. I work very scattered so while I was working on the Cola type I was also working on my pattern for this project. The pattern part was pretty fun considering that it was pretty open to interpretation where we could give it any theme we kind of wanted!

The deliverables were two patterns and a redraw of the Coca Cola logo. While doing this project and following the tutorials I learned a lot faster ways to do things in illustrator and it made my life a whole lot easier. I already had an ok amount of knowledge and experience because I took a year of Graphic Design classes but I believe that with Adobe programs there is always stuff to be learned.

In this screenshot I am starting off by getting a basic color palette based off of my reference image.
Here I am starting to trace the type with the pen tool.
Here it is almost complete, I did it in red at first so It would not get lost with the original image.
And here my project is practically finished
