Hamlet is a play about corruption, revenge and struggle. It is was written in about 1600 and has been changed and adapted various ways throughout the years since its first production.

This project is tasked with the promoting a theoretical play that Shawnee State University has decided to put on stage. A poster that advertises this play should play on key ideas and themes of the production it is advertising to entice viewers who may want to watch. The poster is meant to also inform the viewers of any necessary information in order to go to said production. A poster who catch the viewers eye and then to promote the viewer to read the rest of the information presented.

This project had the added challenge that we were only allowed to use the color palette of red, white, and black, a palette I personally hate. Due to this restricted color palette and the limited time we were given on the project, I pushed myself harder than I ever had on projects of the past. Before going into the research phase of this project, I knew from the start that I wanted to emulate graphic design styles throughout time. When I heard of this project, I immediately thought of Saul Bass the rest fell together.
