Sleepy Hollow synopsis:
In the early United States of America, young Police Detective Ichabod Crane (Johnny Depp) is sent from New York City to the fledgling settlement of Sleepy Hollow to investigate a series of ghoulish murders. Upon his arrival, the town council informs him that the three victims were killed on open ground, and the heads had disappeared, taken by a headless ghost that is supposedly responsible. Ichabod is unconvinced of this but learns more about the ghostly horseman.
Original title sequence: The detective travels from New York to Sleepy Hollow.
Concept for the alternate title sequence:
The detective is against the traditional form of justice system. His skepticism is shown through his techniques and process, using various tools and his diary. But his believes are questioned with various murders that take place after his arrival to the Sleepy Hollow.
