La Vauderie collection is influenced from Punk and Dark subcultures, combining them with occultism, black magic and Victorian Gothic architecture and design. The name “La Vauderie” comes after the French word for Voodoo. The primary source of my research is Richard Cavendish’s Black Arts. Black Arts is a book that covers occult practices such as Witchcraft, Magic, Demonology.

The colour palette aroused from the colours of Mars; the planet of anger, grudge and other negative emotions that lead magicians to do black magic. For the sake of Punk movement, the products will promote the D.I.Y ethics and aesthetics, featuring deconstructed and deformed silhouettes, hand-made graphics.
