As creatives, we have chosen to monetize our hobbies and enjoyment into a career. It is easy for us to beat ourselves up for not being "productive" enough. This year, one of my resolutions is to get busy living. Not grinding, not hustling, just living and doing things. Things that "don't count", that I don't have to worry about whether it is a skillset I can add to my CV, whether or not I will get really good at, or if it's going to be a "waste of time". I want to unlearn our fixation on productivity, normalize time off as part of my day, and truly enjoy everything I do in this life that I live.
