Objective: Given a non-profit organization, pair it with a Penguin Books series. The book covers of the chosen series must be redesigned and a campaign created to market the partnership with the non-profit organization.
Solution: My non-profit organization is BookAid, partnering with Penguin Publishers to provide a Voyager Library to six countries in need. Penguin will donate brand new books to fill these libraries. The Black Stallion series presented in the campaign is an example of what will be in the Voyager Library. Each Library is a repurposed storage container with added shelving and colors targeting children. Each country receiving a Voyager Library through this campaign has had troubles with the overflow of refugees from neighboring countries at war. The Black Stallion series is fiction, allowing children to escape the harsh world around them and enjoy reading about the bond between a boy and his horse. The four books presented are a teaser package as there are 20 total books in the series.
