Theatre stuff
So, my wife works in musical thatre, so, over the years I´ve created quite a bit of graphics for her plays. I usually made flyers and other print pieces, some social network stuff, but also videos to br projected during the plays, sometimes during the whole play (that one was tough).
Flyer for "Corazon Fluo" (Neon heart) a comedy set in the 80s about clashing rock bands.
See if you can guess this one. It´s about big hair...and spray.
Any relation to the movies about talking animals made by huge corporations of purely coincidental.
Wonderland
This one was a tough one. The entire play had projected backgrounds, so I created an environment in Maya, which I then used to create loops. I also had transitions from one loop to the next that were used when the scene changed locations. I also had specific videos for the songs, which had to be launched in perfect synch with the music. All of this was done live, during the play, using Resolume Avenue 4. I did all the modeling, texturing, rendering, and acted as some sort of VJ during the shows.
