"LANGTANG" with the Tamang Heritage Trail and The Langtang Trek is a perfect blend of Culture and  Nature.

The Tamang Heritage trail takes us to the traditional Tamang villages and their way of life. The settlements of Gatlang, Tatopani, Thumen, Briddim lets you get closer with the cultures and traditions of the Tamang people.The people are mostly seen in their traditional attires everywhere with the men always carrying their Khukuri blade in their waist. The houses with stone roof, carved windows and wooden ladders still remain. The women weave their cloth in the traditional hand weaving machines. People use ‘Doko’ to carry their stuffs. The prayer wheels saying ‘Om Mane Pad Me Hun’ are spun by water mills. And with mud stoves in the kitchen, the traditions are still being kept alive.

Nakthali, the highest point in the Tamang Heritage Trail offers view of Langtang Lirung(7234m), Shishapangma(8027m) and Ganesh Himal(7422m). 
 Langtang village that was completely destroyed by the earthquake is building itself up. Kyanjin gompa (3830m) was the final place of stay. A walk up to Kyanjin Ri (4770m) blessed us with the view of the Langtang RangeTserko Ri (5030m) is the highest point of the Langtang Trek. 
The Langtang trek takes you through the forests of the Langtang National Park which is home to the endangered Red Panda. The trail along the river from the mountains through the forest offers a lot of diversity to nature and landscape lovers.
