The term "October Surprise" describes an event that happens just before voters go to the polls in November. It might be a deliberate act designed to influence the election or a random event that seems to favor one candidate over another.
I was asked to create this explainer animation due to the last US presidential elections. My customer provided me only the voiceover, so my task was to work at every stage of the animation creation process: storyboard, visual look, illustrations, animation (both frame by frame and 2d), and also simple sound design.
