These are for an assortment of games, some for specific games, some for certain series, the games that they are for I tried to be obvious about, some more than others. I have been trying to become more and more generalized in the work as I went on going for more of a generic look than relying on assets from within the games themselves. My latest one being a cozy sweater for more laid back/cutesy games.
Starting off with, Oracle of Ages as my earliest, with images taken straight from the game, it is a layout I will return to in the future.
Next up is the God of War series, everything on this was hand made and allowed me to stretch out my use of the Pen Tool in Illustrator, allowing me to recreate the main blades of the game.
The next two are two different versions for the Devil May Cry series, where I once again stretched out what I can do with the Pen Tool and recreated the iconic sword of the series as well.
I then created a Darksiders layout using the Pen Tool to create both the skull and the silhouette of the main character's sword, keeping from just placing it in there as I did previously.
I then created my first non-specific layout, this could be used for mech based games, and is very interchangeable as to what it is used for. I looked up references of mech cockpits to figure out how I wanted to build it up and focused on many inspirations instead of just one.
This is for more chilled out and relaxing games, games that do not have you stressing out or anything of the sort. They are meant to be simple and calm, so calm in fact i place my channels mascot in for a nap.
And this final one is more for relaxing games, easily changeable with the one above if you wish for something nondescript. It was based off of a knitted look, more of like a sweater than anything else with plenty of negative space to use for items on your layout that you wish to include.
I am currently working on more and more of these as I find my love for graphic design returning, and you may see more of these show up in the future in differing renditions, and updated graphics as I learn new and better techniques.
