As any creator, I am inspired by my own experiences. With the design of paper dolls for educational use, I relied on my childhood memories of playing with these paper toys.

I started with a sketch on paper, worked digitally on the lines and eventually the color. I ended up making different variations to be more inclusive.

Designing the clothes was the same process. With the doll finished, I had a body to work with for the resizing of the clothes.

I tested out this paper doll with some kids and they quite enjoyed the activity and the playing with the doll. What do you think?
