Beyrouth: cartes postales

Deciding my “impromptu” trip to Beirut actually took about half an hour! when I decided that I’ll be traveling for the weekend and it still is one of the craziest yet happy decisions that I’ve made in my entire life.
getting lost in the streets of Hamra, Achrafieh and Gemmayze for hours made me fall for this city even more than before, the multicolored wall murals adorned with bullet holes during wartime, the little coffee shops around the corners that reminded me of Paris, the vibrance of its people who never sleep, I even fell for the chaos that somehow reminded me of Cairo. The photos taken there is my tribute to this city that went through a lot and still suffers, for better days to come and for peace and prosperity to Lebanon 🕊 🇱🇧
