Coachella Rebranding

For my design class, we we're asked to rebrand Coachella's logo and marketing. With a music festival that is so colorful and youthful, going down a path of vibrant, bright and trippy design aspects was important for me.
Final poster logo design down below.
Noticing a popular trend in bright neon color amongst young teens and adults, I knew that bright color choices would grab the attention of almost anyone who passed by these marketing ads.  Choosing from a variety of different gradient maps to see which color scheme I felt fit Coachella the most, came down to these three gradient maps, the dark blue and fuschia one being the main staple gradient color scheme My second logo final design is down below..
Final rendition of a marketing poster, on paper and on screen.  Landing on Futura was a somewhat interesting choice for me, since I believed more unique and abstract type-faces would look better with the melted effect, however Futura read the best with the melted effect.
Billboard designs
For an elongated billboard poster
Lastly, the lanyards that would be worn by each festival goer.
